Kristen – Centre Manager

Kristen has always loved being around children and decided her passion was with the early years. Kristen strengthened her knowledge and skills by working within the early childhood industry in a variety of roles such as an Assistant, Room Group Leader, Assistant Coordinator, 2IC and Centre Manager.

Kristen holds her Advanced Diploma in Children Services and has been working as a Centre Manager for the past 6 years and within the Early Childhood industry for over a decade.

As Centre Manager of Lizards, Kristen works very closely with her team to ensure on a day to day basis that Lizards is providing all children in our care an environment that is secure, caring, loving, nurturing, educational and anti bias. We strive to promote a home away from home environment that is always warm and welcoming.

Kristen is very proud to lead our team of passionate and professional Educators who always ensure each family is provided with the highest quality care at Lizards Early Learning Centre

In Kristen’s spare time she loves to create delicious meals for loved ones, work out at the gym to maintain a healthy mind and body and spend quality time with her friends and family.

Catherine – Childcare Centre Manager

Catherine has been involved in the childcare industry in various capacities since 1993. During this time Catherine has worked as an Assistant through to a Centre Manger and has also worked with all children from Babies to School Age.

Having completed a Certificate III in Children’s Services and Diploma in Children’s Services as well as holding a current Blue Card, Catherine is currently studying an Advance Diploma in Children Services.During her time in the industry, Catherine has gained valuable knowledge and experience and believes that a child care centre should be a place of warmth and safety, providing appropriate learning experiences that meets the individual needs of every child’s unlimited potential.

Catherine believes that every teacher needs to form a bond with each and every child in our care and by creating this special atmosphere for children it will allow them to feel more comfortable and have a sense of freedom to experiment, explore, problem solve and question through the use of materials and their own ingenuity. Catherine understands that the Lizards should be a place for parents who should feel comfortable to visit, participate and question the happenings of the day as it is necessary for parents to understand the value and meaning of their child’s play.

 

Lizards Early Learning Centre Aspley offer quality childcare in Aspley catering for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Our Aspley childcare centre manager Kristen encourages a day care environment that makes the children feel safe whilst enjoying the freedom to express themselves as individuals. Our Childcare Centre provides nutritional meals, nappies and provide a strong foundation for early education.
